This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit our website; complete a quiz, questionnaire or form; register for a masterclass, webinar or free resource; purchase our courses, programmes, products or services; join or participate in our communities; contact us; subscribe to our emails; participate in coaching, training or implementation sessions; or otherwise interact with Build an AI Business. We operate from the United Kingdom but our products and services may be available internationally.
3. Information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect identity and contact information; purchase and transaction information; business and questionnaire information; course and community information; marketing preferences; communications; and technical and website information. Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe and PayPal. We do not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details. We ask you not to provide unnecessary sensitive or special-category personal information in free-text forms, questionnaires or community posts.

We primarily collect personal information directly from you when you submit forms, complete the Business Readiness Quiz or BUILD Discovery Questionnaire™, register for a masterclass or free resource, purchase a product or service, enrol in a course, request community access, communicate with us, or subscribe to our emails. We may also receive limited information from service providers involved in delivering our services. Where someone reaches us through an affiliate referral, we may record information identifying the referring affiliate.
5. Why we use your information and our lawful bases
We rely, as appropriate, on contract, consent, legitimate interests and legal obligation. Contract processing includes administering orders, accounts, course enrolments, access, support and programme/community services. Consent may apply to certain marketing and non-essential cookies. Legitimate interests may include operating and improving our business, responding to enquiries, understanding use of our services, maintaining records, protecting against misuse or fraud and administering our affiliate programme. We may also process information to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting or tax obligations.
6. Email marketing
We may send marketing communications where we have a lawful basis to do so. Where you have consented, you may withdraw consent at any time. Where permitted by UK law, we may contact existing customers about our own similar products and services under the soft opt-in, where the applicable requirements have been met, including an appropriate opportunity to opt out when details are collected. Every marketing email will provide a way to unsubscribe. Service communications relating to a purchase are different from marketing messages.

We use third-party providers to operate Build an AI Business. Current providers may include Systeme.io, Skool, Netlify, Google, Stripe, PayPal, Zapier and Make. We do not sell your personal information.

Transaction and accounting records may be retained for periods required by law; customer records while necessary to provide products and support; marketing information until you unsubscribe or object, while retaining limited suppression information; enquiries until no longer reasonably required; and questionnaire/programme information while relevant to the services for which it was collected. We periodically review and delete or anonymise information we no longer need.
